NAES Corporation, a leading provider of 3rd party O&M services to the Independent Power Industry, is currently recruiting for an O&M Supervisor for the Sandersville facility located in Washington County, Georgia. The Sandersville facility is a nominal 640 MW natural gas-fired, simple-cycle facility that commenced commercial operations in June 2002. Sandersville has eight GE 7EA combustion turbines. Each turbine is equipped with a dry low NOx combustion system, an air cooled generator and an inlet fogging system which boosts output during peak summer periods. Job Description: The O&M Supervisor, who reports to the Division Director, is responsible for managing the daily plant operations, and overseeing the maintenance and repair of plant facilities and equipment. The O&M Supervisor directs the implementation of the Operations Manual and identifies those areas which may need improvement or further development. The O&M Supervisor also manages the implementation of the plant's Maintenance Program (NAES/Plant Maintenance Policy Manual) and identifies those items which need improvement or additional work. The O&M Supervisor assures that plant operating conditions are always kept within efficient and optimum limits at all times. The O&M Supervisor assures that the plant is operated in compliance with applicable safety, environmental and power generating requirements (that meet all client contractual and regulatory specifications). Qualifications: - Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or equivalent required.
- 5+ years of power plant or similar experience required.
- Gas turbine experience, power generation, or continuous manufacturing experience highly desirable.
- At least 2 years experience supervising technical, supervisory, and administrative personnel required.
- Strong leadership and motivational skills required.
