PROJECT MANAGER
NAES Corporation, a leading provider of 3rd party O&M services to the Independent Power Industry, is currently recruiting for a Project Manager to be based out of the NAES corporate offices in Carney's Point, New Jersey.
Job Description:
The Project Manager represents NAES on all matters pertaining to the provision of Operations and Maintenance services during the pre-commercial and transition phase of an electrical generation facility. Serves as the single point of contact between the client and NAES, with the authority to make decisions on behalf of the company. Transfers appropriate duties to the Plant Manager prior to the commercial operations phase. Provides general oversight, assesses conditions, and coordinates headquarters support for one or more projects during commercial operations.
Qualifications:
BS degree in Engineering, or equivalent knowledge and experience required.
5-8 years experience , specifically in an industrial or power plant environment, to include design, construction, startup or operations required.
At least 3 years of power plant operations and management experience.
Fundamental technical knowledge of power plant systems and design required. Experience in the coordination of multiple activities and tasks in multiple disciplines required.
Organizational, communication, budget, cost estimating and scheduling skills required.
Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and project management software required.
Supervisory skills desired.
